On November 11, 2018 Sylvia Walton presented at the Wave Fest at Roanoke Community College in partnership with Community in Schools of Hertford County Schools. The event focused on bullying, mental health, & drug abuse. Also, Nov 6,2018, she presented to K-5 on Bullying, reading to fifth graders the first chapter of "One Voice."

On Dec. 1, 2018, Sylvia Walton was honored to write a spoken word piece for World AIDS Day Program sponsored by Hertford County Health Department. Dec. 2, 2018 Portion of One Voice Grace Team who helped her in planning her first book signing. So very thankful for the love & support!
